This hotel is located in the most beautiful and serene setting, surrounded by lush green rainforest. The views from the rooms are simply breathtaking. You can even enjoy the stunning scenery while relaxing in your own private jacuzzi. The staff here are incredibly attentive and the service is top-notch. The attention to detail in the rooms, with glass walls that open up to the jungle, is truly unique. Plus, the breakfast spread is delicious and satisfying.
All was good, nothing to complain about.

Bagus Jati was just amazing. I spent there a couple of nights. with my husband in a spa villa and we felt like in a dream. It is so relaxing... I took the yoga class in the morning and after a nice breakfast a nice balinese massage. We almost dod not want to leave the hotel to visit Ubud...
The only thing we missed was that the shuttle service from Ubud only ran till 18:00. We wanted to stay for dinner and attend to a performance. A taxi only costed 100000 idr, so it was not a problem...

The star of the hotel is the nature guide Huda with his extensive and vast knowledge of cultivated and traditional plants and Indonesian architecture. Kudos !!
I was advised to keep my doors and windows closed at night, though room wasn't stuff, I do feel it's a shame to close oneself to the surrounding nature, though I understand we are in the midst of a forest with wild animals .

This retreat is a perfect getaway for those interested in a peaceful and refreshing location. the lush landscape in the mountains and the holly forest create an incredible atmosphere. Guests can enjoy an outdoor “cave like” massage area overlooking the view which is a unique and relaxing experience. the food is excellent, with organic options, and the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly.
One reviewer noted that the yoga classes were basic and disappointing, with the instructors not providing enough correction or guidance.

One of the most beautiful locations on Bali. Ultimate place for rest. Staff is very friendly. Good restaurant.
Room cleaning was inadequate. Staff forgot the bathroom and left used plates on the room on several occasions. That resulted in ants and cockroaches in the room. At evening the staff comes to the room too many times. At arrival we were surprised that many facilities were not available due to construction activities.

Great location in the midst of nature, very close to local attractions. Wonderful and friendly staff. A tranquil ambiance.
The rooms were a bit old and outdated. The food could have been better.

I had an amazing time surrounded by nature and away from the city. The hotel facilities were spotless, and the outdoor "cave-like" massage area with a view of the jungle was an unforgettable experience. Additionally, the staff was courteous and always available to help.
For us, it was ideal and there were no negative aspects of the stay.
